Success Metrics

What can be evaluated as a successful information system projects? A successful projects meet these 3 criteria:

1. Cost:

   • At project completion, no more money has been spent than originally allocated. Project cost is within Information System Budget

2. Schedule:

   • The project is delivered no later than the original delivery date.

3. Performance:

   • When delivered, the project includes all features and functionality that were originally required.
